About Us

I am delighted to welcome you to Sandringham School. We are very proud of our learning environment and the high standards of achievement reached by all students at the school.

The school has achieved many accolades in recent years. Our three specialisms in Arts, Science and Leading Edge help students to develop important personal and academic skills and also provide significant additional learning to our wider community.

We are a Gifted and Talented lead school and have an extensive programme to stretch and challenge the most able students.

We also hold International School status and work extensively with schools in other countries to broaden our studentsā€˜ understanding of the world at large.

The most recent development has been the award of National Teaching School status which means we can now lead other schools in the development of staff.

We believe that every child can succeed in life if challenged and inspired appropriately. A strong academic curriculum supported by outstanding extra-curricular provision helps Sandringham students develop as individuals with the necessary skills to be successful in adult life.

Our blend of traditional values combined with creativity and innovation offers a rich environment for progress. The quality of teaching and breadth of curriculum ensures students consistently achieve the best possible standards in their public examinations. We also believe it is essential to provide opportunities for young people to take responsibility for leading the learning of others thus strengthening their independence and maturity.

All our students are expected to work hard and behave in an exemplary fashion. This is achieved through clear expectations and a comprehensive rewards system that encourages students to do well and ensures they feel safe and able to meet the challenges we set.

Sandringham School makes a difference to young people and we very much look forward to welcoming your son or daughter to the school and becoming one of our many successes of the future.
