Friends of Sandringham School (FO$S)

A show at Sandringham

An introduction to Fo$S?

All parents and carers are automatically members of FoSS (Friends of Sandringham School), the PTA of Sandringham School. By becoming an active member of FoSS you can meet other enthusiastic parents, help to raise funds to enhance the school experience of all of our children and be part of the school community.

We meet at the start of every half term for an hour or so in the Staff Room. Dates of forthcoming meetings are included in the school calendar. Minutes of previous meetings can be found at the bottom of this page. Please do come along to our next meeting to find out more about FoSS. Alternatively, email us at sandringham.foss@gmail.com or call Sue on 07901775319.

You don’t have to commit to help on a regular basis or attend meetings but giving an hour of your time every now and again to help at an event will make a huge difference to the quality of the educational experience of your child and all children at the school.

We also support school activities such as Open Evenings, Award Ceremonies, New Student and Parents Evenings and productions in the SandPit with refreshments. We are always grateful for volunteers to help at these events. If you are able to give an hour or so once in a while, please email Brigid at martin.errington@virginmedia.com and we will let you know when these events are scheduled to take place.

In this 25th Anniversary Year of Sandringham School, we are helping the school to raise £100,000 for the Sports Hall Building Appeal and will be holding a number of events and activities throughout the year to which we hope you will give your full support.

FoSS’ main aims:

  • To provide well organised and enjoyable fundraising events
  • To provide a social environment for parents, carers and the wider community to meet
  • To support school activities to further enhance the reputation of Sandringham School
