The Library is located in D block and is open at the following times :
- Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 4.15pm.
- Friday 8.30am to 4pm.
Sandringham Library is a vibrant and busy place with an excellent selection of resources and a constantly updated set of displays. The fiction stock is housed on wooden shelving and the non fiction stock is housed on bright yellow shelving. The Library also has a Connexions Centre as well as a dedicated Arts area.
The Library has seating at study tables for 64 students as well as soft chairs. The study area is used regularly throughout the school day by classes doing silent reading sessions or research tasks.
On arrival at Sandringham School, Year 7 students take part in a series of lessons in the Library to ensure that they become independent learners as quickly as possible
The Library has an excellent team of Library student helpers. The students range from year eight to year twelve and help behind the desk during their free time.
