When I heard that I got a place at Sandringham School I was over the moon. I couldn't wait until the Induction Evening with my parents and the Induction Day.
After what seemed like ages, I went to the Induction Day where we got to try out a few lessons, like Science and Technology, and got to know our form tutor. As soon as I got there I saw a girl sitting on her own. I went over to her, sat down and we started to talk. She is now my best friend at Sandringham and we do everything together.
When the summer holidays finished I couldn't wait for my first day at secondary school. I was very excited but also quite nervous, but I didn't need to worry because everyone was so helpful and so nice to me. The teachers were especially nice and showed us to our next lessons so that we didn't get lost.
The first few weeks went really well and I enjoy my life at Sandringham a lot. I have made loads of new friends and all of the lessons are fun and enjoyable.
