It all started when my parents received the email saying that I had got a place at Sandringham School. The whole family was glowing with joy!
I was REALLY nervous at first. But meeting my new class and form tutor on Induction Day made me feel so much better. Everyone gets on so well and we all very quickly made new friends.
Sandringham is much bigger than any school I had been to before so I thought that I would easily get lost. But after a few days I knew each block and my timetable off by heart.
It didn't take long to settle in and then we had the Peak District trip. This was, without doubt, the best school trip I had ever been on! We climbed Thorpe Cloud, took long walks through the beautiful scenery and had an awesome disco on the last night. The trip enabled us to bond even better and make even more friends.
I now have no worries and you shouldn't either!
