With over 300 intelligent and articulate young adults in our sixth form, this is a natural progression for students beyond year 11.
It is a time of opportunities and experiences: academic, social and cultural and we aim to help students successfully complete their formal education before moving on to University or work.
Sandringham Sixth Form is open to all students, Sandringham or elsewhere, who meet our entrance criteria. Sixth Form students have full access to a wide range of courses through our own curriculum and the long-established BeauSandVer (BSV) post-16 consortium with Beaumont and Verulam schools. We offer AS and A2 courses together with other level 3 applied subjects. There is something to suit anyone who wishes to join the Sixth Form and pursue an academic course of study.
Admissions
We are still accepting late applications to the sixth form. Application to join our sixth form can be made on our application form (download here) and sent directly to Sandringham School (for the attention of Mrs. Barter - Head of Sixth Form). Alternatively, you can download the form from the BeauSandVer web site and send to Sandringham, as above.
Facilities
We have just opened two new parts to our sixth form centre; the grand open space for silent study and the Starbucks Cafe. 
This means you can choose where you want to study during the day (and evening) similar to a University style environment. We now have three separate study zones for you to choose from. In addition, we have specialist subject and tutorial staff to support and encourage you to become responsible, independent learners. A structured programme of tutorials and progress monitoring will help you in fulfilling your potential in your chosen specialist areas.
Sixth Form students play a unique and valuable role in the school, contributing actively to the wider life of the school community. They arrange and run events with younger students, demonstrating tremendous leadership and motivation, particularly through the House System. The Head Girl, Head Boy, Prefects and various House and Sports Captains play a particularly key role in school life and competition is fierce for these positions of responsibility.
We encourage all Sixth Form students to participate in enrichment activities that develop personal skills and there is a very robust Careers Education and Guidance programme which helps them prepare for Higher Education and the workplace.
The Sixth Form is pre-University style culture with extremely high expectations and challenges, but equally high rewards at the end. It probably constitutes the best days of school at Sandringham for many students.
