Please give generously to help us reach our target of £100,000 by 31st October 2013

We have developed plans for building a new sports hall and, after many years of waiting, I am delighted to announce that we have finally secured Government funding of £1 million towards this project as we move into our 25th year as Sandringham School. This is excellent news and means we are able to move forward with our plans to ensure students at Sandringham have first-class sporting facilities for the future.

We now need to launch an appeal to raise £100,000 by October 2013, which is vital if we are going to provide the additional aspects to the building that are needed. This includes approximately £50,000 for the various pieces of sports equipment to stock the building, and £50,000 to provide a teaching space so that students can learn the theory as well as practice of sport in the same building. Clearly, any additional income we are able to raise will help with other finishing touches to the building to ensure it is of the highest quality.

The education provided by Sandringham is comparable to that of many public schools in the country but without the high costs associated with private education. I very much hope you are able to help us with this unique appeal and leave a lasting legacy for your child(ren) and many others to enjoy over the years to come.

A really good way of contributing in a relatively “painless” manner is by a standing order – which of course would finish on 31st October, 2013. We have produced a standing order pro forma which is very simple to complete. We would also ask you to Gift Aid the donation to allow us to recover tax at the rate of 25p. in the pound – really adding to the funding received.

Some of you may prefer to make a one-off donation (cash, cheque or on-line). There is also the additional opportunity to “Buy-a-Brick” at the cost of £200, where your family name or wording of your choice, can be engraved. The bricks will be used as part of a display at the entrance to the new sports hall in recognition of your generous donation.
