Network Manager - H9 + fringe, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
We wish to appoint an ambitious and talented individual to manage the schools IT network and to work closely with the school Leadership Group link and the Director of Learning IT. The network consists of 12 servers, 340 computers and spans numerous buildings. Ideally the candidate will have or will be working towards MCSE, be confident in managing multiple domains, scripts, security and Active Directory issues and be experienced in supporting Microsoft XP/Windows 7 systems.
The main responsibilities of this post will include hardware and software support, undertaking new ICT projects, providing IT support to staff and students and managing the Network Support team. Some knowledge of Serco CMIS, PC imaging or remote application deployment would be an advantage.
