3 year old Lu Hao weighs more than 9 stone and is dangerously overweight.
Lu Yuncheng (his father) told the news that:
"For a meal he can eat three big bowls of rice, even more than I and his mother."
When Lu Hao was born he weighed only 5lb 7oz.From three months old his appetite has become endless. His family has tried to control his diet but his mother called Chen Huan said that he throws tantrums if he does not get food. His father added: "We took him to three hospitals and one said he has a tumour in the head, while the other two said there is no tumour. It is hard to know why he could be so big."
If he keeps this up he could be in danger of heart failure. The toddler despises walking and instead travels to his nursery school in China driven by his dad on a motorbike.
His parents have tried to encourage him to exercise but they say it is "pointless" because exercise only makes him hungry.
Lu Hao prefers to spend his time eating and playing. He especially likes his Superman figure.
Lu said: "He's my favourite because he can fly and beat the bad men.I can't fly like that because I'm too fat."
Around 27% of children in the UK are now overweight and research suggests that the main problem is a big decrease in the amount of exercise children do.
Many overweight children have overweight parents as it's usually a matter of family lifestyles and genetics.
Claire and Amy (year 7 students) say that toddlers need to be told what they can and can't do because they just ask for food and they get it.
A dinner lady told us that children need a balanced diet, but it is really down to the parents.
