Year 12 Fine Artists make portraits for charity

As in previous years, some of our art students have been involved with ‘The Memory Project’.  This USA based charity has links with orphanages around the world and asks school students in the UK and USA to make   portraits for the children living there.  Receiving a portrait from a school student from across the world means a great deal to the children, some of whom have lost all their  family, home and possessions in recent conflicts.

This year our year 12 class made portraits for children in Syria which will soon be delivered in person by the charity workers.  The photograph shows our students with the paintings and drawings they made.
