Welcome to Sandringham School

We are very proud of our learning environment and the high standards of achievement reached by all students at our school, both in academic success and their wider development outside the classroom. Our blend of traditional values, combined with creativity and innovation, offers a rich environment for progress. We believe that every child can succeed in life if challenged and inspired appropriately and we welcome you to Sandringham, a “World Class” school.

GCSE Results 2019

Another very successful year for our year 11 students. Over 200 grade 9s were awarded to our students and over 50 students achieved an average grade of 7 or higher (equivalent to old A-A*). Almost half of all grades awarded were 9-7.

In the core subjects of English and Maths, an excellent 90% of students achieved a grade 4 or better (equivalent to a C grade) and 76% achieved grade 5 and above.

The average attainment score of 6.3 shows the consistently high attainment of our students, particularly since we are a non-selective school.

One of the most notable aspects of school performance has been consistency: the Progress 8 score has been +0.8 for the past three years, meaning that Sandringham students achieve on average nearly a grade higher at Sandringham than their peers with the same start point nationally.

Public Footpath 29A Closure

There are currently notices around the School put up by the District Council about the School’s application to close a Public Footpath.  This is to deal with Footpath 29A Sandridge which is not in use, but is still legally in existence and runs within the School grounds.  The closure has no impact on any access currently used by students.  The closure will help to keep the School secure.
