Catering

A ‘cashless cafeteria‘ operated by Culinera Catering provides hot and cold meals and snacks at break time and lunchtime. Students can choose from a wide range of meals and snacks.

There is also a Kiosk service at breaktime and lunchtime for snacks and ‘light-bites’. Sixth formers have RE;START which is a dedicated coffee shop serving Redemption Roasters coffee and items such as paninis and sandwiches.

Full details of the system are issued to all parents of new students. Students may bring a packed lunch. These are to be eaten in the indoor or outdoor dining areas. Details about the provision of free school meals are available from Gemma Lovett, Pupil Premium Coordinator.

The cashless catering system uses a fingerprint image to creates a mathematical algorithm. The fingerprint is then discarded, leaving the numerical code behind, and this cannot be re-interpreted back into a fingerprint. This enables students to put cash onto their ‘finger‘ to pay for school meals.

We recommend using ParentPay, which enables parents/carers to transfer funds onto the child’s finger via the internet. Each parent/carer has a unique user ID and password that can be used to access Parent Pay

Parent Pay also allows access to information about how your child has spent the funds, so this can be used to determine exactly what food your child has been buying at the school catering outlets.
