Another fantastic year for students at Sandringham School who excelled once again, this time under the new harder examinations in English and mathematics at GCSE. With the majority of students gaining the highest grades and many achieving straight A*s and level 8s and 9s across their subjects, record numbers will be continuing in the sixth form to follow A-level subjects of their choice.
Message from the head: ‘We were confident that our students would be able to perform well in the more challenging English and mathematics examinations, and this has proved to be the case. These outstanding results are due to the significant efforts of students throughout their time at Sandringham and the hard work and expertise of the teaching staff. I am delighted they have been so well prepared for their GCSEs and now look forward to following their progress either at college, employment or in the sixth form over the next two years.’
