Our annual Open Evening takes place each July. In the autumn we strongly encourage families to look around the school during a normal day. This is where you can see the school in action and really understand our ethos and culture.
We have identified four days where you can reserve a tour:
Wednesday 20th September (9.00 – 10.45 a.m.)
Friday 22nd September (9.00 – 10.45 a.m.)
Monday 2nd October (9.00 – 10.45 a.m.)
Tuesday 3rd October (9.00 – 10.45 a.m.)
Please contact Cathryn Russell on main reception to book one of these dates and then simply turn up and we will look after you. If you have not been to the school before we will provide you with our school prospectus and information pack. Students will show you around and then there will be an opportunity to discuss the school and admissions with the headteacher and other senior staff. We think you will find this very useful in the process of selecting a secondary school.
If you are unable to make any of the above dates don’t worry, simply contact Cathryn and she will try to accommodate you at an alternative time.
The official admission deadline to our sixth form for September 2017 has passed however if you have recently moved to the area or your circumstances have changed, you should contact Louise Grubb (admissions officer for sixth form) – email@example.com. Louise will advise you on courses that are available to you.
Open Evening will be on TUESDAY 11th July 2017 (5.45 p.m. – 8.45 p.m.)
Admissions criteria – September 2018/19 intake
The governors determined admissions arrangements for 2018/19 intake in February 2017. The criteria can be downloaded in the admissions section.
We are really proud of the achievements of all our students this summer. They have been rewarded with many outstanding results in their various examinations. At GCSE, 84% of students achieved 5A* – C including English and maths, which is a wonderful performance and reflects the talent and effort of our lovely year 11 students. Over 37% of all results were A* and A grade, with many achieving all A* and A grade results. As usual, we report combined BeauSandVer results at A-level which is the combination of results from our post-16 consortium including Beaumont, Sandringham and Verulam students. These were also excellent results across the three schools with students progressing to Higher Education at some of the very best Universities in the UK. Headline figures for GCSE and A-level are shown in more detail on the examinations page. I would like to congratulate all our students for their work and also thank the staff for their outstanding work. Well done to everyone and good luck in the future!
